The Two of Us:
About
We met during the pandemic, and we have a puppy named Poppy who takes up most of our time these days. We like to go on hikes and explore all the natural swimming places around North Carolina whenever we get a chance, and currently our favorite TV series is 90 day fiance!

Experience:
I’ve been a professional photographer since 2010. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Photography in 2015. I have experience in nearly every field of photography including: photojournalism, commercial, portrait, weddings, and much more!
Favorite Time to Shoot:
Golden hour in the late Summer or early Fall when the air is still warm but is starting to get a little crisp.
HiShutter Role:
Photographer, composition extraordinaire, creative content writer, marketing specialist, and bringer of the vibes.
Working Style:
Whether it’s before, during, or after a shoot…my main goal is making clients, Imroz, and everyone within hearing distance, laugh. I pride myself on helping to create a space where everyone is comfortable being themselves.
Special Interests:
When I’m not capturing beautiful moments alongside Imroz..I can be found playing with our puppy, teaching pottery, and advocating for OCD and mental health.

Halima
Experience:
I picked up a camera in 2016 and never put it down. I first fell in love with adventure photography and the process of capturing the push and pull between nature and those exploring it. I have had the pleasure of documenting hiking in the Himalayas, sea kayaking in Australia, and rock climbing in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains.
Favorite Time to Shoot:
I love shooting in “bad” weather. Catch me outside on the cloudy days saying “oh, what a beautiful day!”
HiShutter Role:
Photographer, lighting extraordinaire, editing expert, tech enthusiast, and the one who always packs the snacks.
Working Style:
Always on and ready to go! I like to make a plan and stick to it…with some room for improvisation of course.
Special Interests:
When I’m not shooting or editing, you can find me learning new things about…shooting and editing. I enjoy learning new skills, making silly jokes, and long strolls with Halima and our pup, Poppy.
